Trauma is one of the major causes of chronic health issues and stress.
We’ve all gone through it, some of us more than others. In my experience working to support people with their health, I have noticed a clear correlation between the amount of trauma someone has experienced and the severity of their health condition.
That’s why I make it a priority to address these issues in my naturopathic sessions (where appropriate).
Amongst other techniques like body work (especially useful are my craniosacral techniques of deep listening and holding space for your body to heal), I do also utilise a specific technique for trauma reintegration, which comes from Energetic Structural Balance (ESB).
How does it work?
I use a deceptively simple but very effective technique which does not require talking about or re-living your trauma in any way, although we can talk about it if you wish to. I will ask you to bring the trauma to your mind for just a moment to connect to that part of you which has been left frozen in that traumatic moment. I then rebalance your brain and spine through gentle touch to reintegrate and rebalance the part of you that was stuck. This is followed by gentle and calming bodywork to support the nervous system regulation and release of anything the body may still be holding.
Clients often find that they leave the clinic with a weight lifted off their shoulders and that the memory no longer bothers them.
Trauma is often a major trigger for chronic disease. Now you can address it at its root.
You can book an appointment directly for trauma reintegration if you know that this is your main focus or I often use this technique where appropriate as part of my full naturopathic consultations.
